Dimaniyat: >> Nature Reserve // The Maldives of Oman

If you have ever dreamt of swimming in crystal clear waters, through beautiful coral reefs with sea turtles at arms length, then you must visit the Dimaniyat Islands. Located of the cost of muscat the nature reserve is easily accessible in about 40 minutes by speed boat. As it is a protected nature reserve, you must go with an approved tour provider, as access is restricted to protect the marine life.

For our trip, we opted for a glass-bottom boat, allowing us to admire the coral reefs from above before diving into the warm waters ourselves.

Often referred to as the "Maldives of Oman," the Dimaniyat Islands left a lasting impression on us. The water was incredibly clear, teeming with marine life, and the highlight was undoubtedly the sea turtles, which we could observe up close. A truly unforgettable experience!

Excursions can be easily booked in person when visiting Al Mouj in Muscat , through whats app or through online tour websites such as Get Your Guide. We elected to book with the operator directly, as they offered us the best price for a day trip.
